While Musk did not specify which comments he regretted, his recent remarks follow a series of sharp attacks on the President. Among the controversial claims Musk made was an unfounded accusation that Trump’s administration had suppressed files related to financier Jeffrey Epstein to conceal the president’s involvement with him.<\/p>\n

Musk, who had previously been a staunch supporter of Trump, including during the 2020 election campaign, broke from the President last week over Trump\u2019s “One Big, Beautiful Bill”\u2014a sweeping package of tax cuts and increased government spending.
