MINGORA: The local girl students earned appreciation from the participants of an exhibition by presenting different models on the basis of \u2018multiple intelligence\u2019 theory.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The exhibition was held at the Rahimabad branch of Swat Public School and College.<\/p>\n

The students, their parents and teachers attended the exhibition in a large number.<\/p>\n

\u201cActually parents consider their children their property and want them to become what they desire which often lead the children in wrong direction,\u201d said Syed Munawar Shah, the director of SPS. He added that God bestowed specific intelligence on each child and parents must understand it.<\/p>\n

Muniba Ahmad, a student of FSc second year, who was standing with her model, said that Allah created them with multiple talents.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy multiple intelligence is inter-personal and our group has tried to exhibit its intelligence in different things as we have made models of a cloth shop, a classroom and a clinic according to our intelligence,\u201d she told MP.<\/p>\n

A mock wedding ceremony was also presented in a unique way by Mah Rukh Akbar, who said that wedding ceremony should be held in a simple way and complications must be avoided.<\/p>\n

Minal Karim, a student of second year, exhibited a model of an ideal Pakhtun village.\u201cThis village shows how a woman can arrange her house to make it like a paradise. Here we tried to show that affection and understanding each for other make life a heaven,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Laiba Shah who designed her model on Malam Jabba skiing said that like all other skills some people have the ability and skills of skiing. \u201cHere I have tried to tell people that those who want to do skiing should not be pushed in other sports,\u201d she said, adding that the exhibition was unique and the best one which focused on individuals\u2019 intelligence and showed that what type of smart we were.<\/p>\n

A model of the agriculture research centre was also displayed at the exhibition to show how and what type of agriculture research should be carried out.<\/p>\n

“This is really an important activity in which we learn by doing as it based on practical approach,\u201d Malika Khan a student of grade nine\u00a0 told MP\u00a0while praising the exhibition.<\/p>\n

The model of Pakhtun hujra was the main attraction for the visitors of the exhibition.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are sorry to say that western culture is being adopted by new generation and they are forgetting their own cultural values so here we want to remind them what the hujra is and how does it look like,\u201d said Zala Malik a student of first year said.<\/p>\n

I have made these paintings to express my feelings and I feel satisfaction in them: Farheen a grade 10 student<\/p><\/div>\n

Some girls displayed their paintings at the exhibition. \u201cI have made these paintings to express my feelings and I feel satisfaction in them,\u201d said Farheen, a 10th grader.<\/p>\n

The visitors said that they got an opportunity to see a unique activity.<\/p>\n
