University of Swat formally launches FM Radio

MINGORA: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) on Thursday allowed the University of Swat (UoS) to formally run its FM radio transmission in Swat valley. According to a UoS statement, acting chairman Pemra Kamaluddin Tipu handed over the FM radio licence to the university registrar, Mehboobur Rahman.
