19 injured as gas cylinder explodes in Saidu hospital

MINGORA: Nineteen people were injured in a gas cylinder blast at the Saidu Sharif Teaching Hospital here on Tuesday. Hospital sources said the incident took place at the children ward. They added that an oxygen cylinder exploded early morning leaving 19 people, including eight women and seven children, injured. The victims mostly suffered burn injuries and were immediately shifted to the emergency unit where they were declared out of danger after treatment. MINGORA: District Health Officer sacked two health employees for stealing medicines and selling them in market.
