MINGORA: Two policemen were shot dead by unidentified assailants at Dherai area of Kanju in Kabal tehsil on Monday evening. According to Kanju police station, two policemen identified as Abdul Razaq and Hazrat Usman were at Dherai village for their personal work that some unidentified persons opened indiscriminate firing on them leaving them dead on the spot. Dead bodies of both the deceased policemen were shifted to Saidu Teaching Hospital for postmortem. The assailants managed to escape the scene after killing the policemen.
