Swat civil society urges SC to accelerate proceedings in Parveen Rehman’s murder case

Flood alert issued by DC Swat

MINGORA: Deputy commissioner Atifur Rehman issued a flood warning for March 12 and onwards in the district asking people to refrain from going to the streams and rivers. The warning was issued light of the continuing heavy rainfall in the district. The DC also asked the administrations of local hospitals and related departments to remain alert to cope with any emergency situation caused by inclement weather. Locals allege officials and police of precious wood smuggling in Swat
