South Korea to construct Malakand Tunnel
ISLAMABAD: (APP) The Ambassador of Republic of South Korea H.E. Dr. Suh Dong-Gu called on the Chairman National Highway Authority Shahid Ashraf Tarar here on Wednesday. The meeting discussed progress over various projects including China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). They also agreed on the timely completion of the Lowari Tunnel project where Korean firm M/s SAMBU is the contractor. It was also decided to move forward on the proposed Malakand Tunnel for which Korea has already pledged a loan of US $ 78 million through Axiam Bank.
