MINGORA: People in Swat are excited after Imran Khan Junior, the young player from Swat, was selected by the National Selection Committee in the T20 squad against Zimbabwe.
A wave of happiness surged among Swatis when the young bowler paved his way to the shortest format of cricket after showing his brilliant performances in the national T20 championship.
Playing for Peshawar, the Left-arm pacer Imran bagged 16 wickets in the championship.
“We are really excited to know that Imran has been selected in the national team against Zimbabwe. The news brought immense joy to everyone in Swat,” said Fazal Wahab a young cricket coach from Swat.
