BARIKOT: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited Tehsil Barikot on Saturday and expressed satisfaction over the pace of relief and compensation efforts in the earthquake affected areas of Swat. University of Swat formally launches FM Radio

MINGORA: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) on Thursday allowed the University of Swat (UoS) to formally run its FM radio transmission in Swat valley. According to a UoS statement, acting chairman Pemra Kamaluddin Tipu handed over the FM radio licence to the university registrar, Mehboobur Rahman.
