MINGORA: DC Swat Saqib Raza Aslam here on Wednesday banned the entry of tourists into Swat and said that all tourists spots, hotels in district Swat would be vacated immediately and all hotels would remain closed till further orders.
In a press release issued from his office he said that entry of general public to all the district offices, except district administration, was stopped while all private ceremonies in homes, closed compounds would also be banned.
Grocery, medicine and essential items shops would remain open 24/7, however, all other shops would remain open from 10AM to 7PM only. He also appealed to the general public to avoid making rush in bazaars.
He also said that all official meetings of more than five people were suspended, barbers, beauty parlors would remain closed for next 15 days while all banks must install and ensure availability of sanitizers at the ATM machines.
