ISLAMABAD: Mian Raza Rabbani Chairman Senate honored women’s right activist Hadiqa Bashir with appreciation here on Thursday
She was invited to the session of the senate where her work was introduced by Chairman Senate of Pakistan. All the Senators of the House applauded Hadiqa with clapping hands for her. She was later given the Appreciation Award in a ceremony by the Chairman and Deputy Chairman Senate.
Hadiqa Bashir is a women’s rights activist who is working against child marriages in her area. She has received the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian award this year in USA.
