MADYAN: Police arrested three alleged militants at Bishigram area of Madyan here on Wednesday.
Madyan police claimed that following a tip-off they conducted a raid in Bishigram area and arrested three alleged militants identified as Mohammad Saeed, Mumtaz Shereen and Nawab Shereen. SHO Mohammad Ali said that Rs15,000 were recovered from the three on the spot which was collected from the villagers for the help of quake-affected people.
“Mohammad Saeed had links with the Swat Taliban and his activities were being monitored by the police,” the SHO said.
