SWAT: A tragic day in Swat saw one man killed and 15 others injured in two separate accidents on Monday.
According to Rescue 1122 Swat, the first incident occurred when the brakes of a three-wheeler failed, causing it to plunge into a deep ravine. The driver, 28-year-old Salman, was killed on the spot, while four others sustained injuries. The injured individuals have been identified as Zubair (25), Nauman (30), Mane (28), and Islam (32).
In the second incident, a Suzuki vehicle lost control and crashed near the Kedam Police Checkpost in Bahrain, injuring 11 seminary students. The children, who were on their way back home to Kalam after their holidays in Batkhela, all belong to Kalam. The injured students are: Shamsul Salam (13), Abu Bakr (11), Abu Zar (13), Akhtar Afzal (14), Yusuf (10), Muhammad Afzal (12), Jawad (17), Mahmood (10), Gohar Hamid (14), Yasir Zabe (13), and Iftikhar (11).
Upon receiving reports of both accidents, the Rescue 1122 medical team swiftly arrived at the scenes. After administering initial medical care, the injured were transferred to nearby hospitals. Doctors at the hospitals declared three of the students to be severely injured and referred them to the Civil Hospital in Madyan, where they were safely transferred by Rescue 1122.
