MINGORA: Patients and attendants at Saidu Sharif Teaching Hospital here on Saturday complained of lack of facilities and unavailability of medicines .

They heaped pile of complaints against the medical staff and administration along lacking of basic facilities in a survey conducted by this scribe.

The attendants of the patients said that they were not provided with ordinary medicines in the hospital and had to bought from outside.

They said that the emergency and out-door patients were also suffering due to lack of facilities. “It is hard to find ECG, ultrasound and X-Ray facilities,” they complained and demanded that the provincial government must take immediate steps to streamline the health facilities in the hospital.
