MINGORA: Malakand police claimed on Thursday to have arrested 185 persons including 107 suspects along with weapons and drugs.
According to the press release issued from the office of DIG Malakand Division, police during the previous 15 days have nabbed 78 criminals and 107 suspects from Swat, Shangla, Dir, Chitral, Buner and Malakand districts.
The press release stated that police seized 92 illicit pistols, 6 AK-47, 1 stand gun, 42 chargers and 1664 bullets of different weapons.
“The police in different raids have also recovered 80 kilogram Chars, 10 kilogram opium, 2 kilogram heroin and 116 liters wine,” the press release revealed.
DIG Malakand has directed police in all the seven districts to take strict action against every criminal act and observe no leniency in this regard.
