MINGORA: Official of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Swat here on Saturday vowed to provide safe and better environment in the upcoming examinations of secondary school certificate (SSC).
He was speaking in the prize distribution ceremony for the position holders of the pre-board examination of all the private schools in Swat organized by Board of Educational Research and Development, Swat.
Assistant secretary academics of the BISE Swat, Umar Hussain who was chief guest at the occasion said that transparency in conducting examination was the top priority of the BISE.
“Encouraging hardworking and intelligent students has been the hallmark of the board. The educational board always tries to conduct fair and transparent examination,” he said.
He hoped that the students who achieved top position in the pre-board examination would also maintain the same position in the upcoming BISE exam.
All Swat Private School Management Association president Sawab Khan appreciated the students who topped their exams.
“It is always a hard work of teacher, parents and students behind achieving higher positions and grades in examination. I must congratulate all the teachers of the position holders today,” said Sawab Khan.
As per result, Bilal Ahmad Khan and Haroon Ahamd got first position, Ilyas Muhammad Suleman got second and Saqib Inayat achieved third position in ninth grade of boys category. Similarly in girls, Zainab Haider got first, Gul Rukh grabbed second and Safia achieved third position.
In 10th grade of the boys category, Dawood Khan got first, Kashif Khan got second and Salman grabbed third position in the boys while in girls, Mehr Nigar got first, Aiman Aziz second and Rameen Bibi achieved third position in grade tenth examination.
